On Thursday the 22nd of May, 2001, on the occasion of the Urs-E-Shareef of Hazrath Syed Shah Afzal Biabani (R. A.), Kazipet, Dist. Warangal, A.P., disciples and devotees have felicitated Hazrath Syed Shah Gulam Sarwar Biabani Saheb, on completion of 25 years as Sajjada Nasheen.

Syed Shujathullah, Principal, Govt. Jr. College, Wardhannapet, the convenor of the function said that Hazrath Sajjada Nasheen, has re-established the system of monastery (khankhahi nizam). Thousands of Muslims have became his disciples and devotees. He is teaching them the way of knowledge, (Maarifath), the Truth, the way of true love (Mohabbath-E-Haqeequi), the way of worship and invocation of Allah. Every month he has been conducting religious teaching classes and meetings in Hyderabad regularly for the benefit of disciples and devotees. He has constructed a big Mosque, the new building of the dargah shareef of Hazrath Syed Shah Afzal Biabani (R. A.), at Kazipet, and a Samaa khana (auditorium) which is being used for Madarsa-E-Afzalia. Approximately 125 children being taught the Holy Qur’an in this Madarsa.

Aali Janab Mohammad Sarwar Hussain Saheb, General Manager, Reserve Bank of India (Rtd) has presided over the function. Hazrath Syed Mohammad Hamid Qadri Saheb, the great grand son of Hazrath Syed Shah Afzal Biabani (R. A.) has graced the occasion as the chief guest. Janab Syed Mohammad Aleemuddin Hassan Biabani, a disciple has also addressed the gathering.

Hundreds of disciples and devotees have garlanded Hazrath Sajjada Nasheen and greeted him.

On this auspicious occasion Hazrath Sajjada Nasheen Saheb in his sermon advised all the disciples and devotees to be punctual in offering Namaz. He also stressed on to recite the Holy Qur’an daily before they start their daily routine work. Do service to the parents, orphans, relatives and poor people. Janab Mohammad Qawal presented sufiana kalam at the end. The entire disciple and devotees also greeted Hazrath Syed Shah Gulam Afzal Biabani (Khusro Pasha) on this occasion.
