الہی بحرمت رازونیاز حضرت سيد شاہ غلام سرور بیابانی [فاروق پاشاہ] رفاعی القادری قدس اللّھ سرۂ HAZRATH SYED SHAH GULAM SARWAR BIABANI -- FAROOQ PASHA (رحمت اللہ علیہ) (1939 - 2009) Hazrath Syed Shah Gulam Sarwar Biabani (رحمت اللہ علیہ) is the great grand son of Hazrath Syed Shah Afzal Biabani (رحمت اللہ علیہ), one of the front-ranking sufi-saints of South India, whose disciples are spread all over the world. He was born at Bhongir in Nalgonda District in A.P. on 16th June 1939 (22nd Jamadis sani). He was educated in Government Multi purpose High School, Hanamkonda. He was graduated from Osmania University in 1966. He also received religious education from his father, Hazrath Syed Shah Abu Mohammad Gulam Afzal Biabani (رحمت اللہ علیہ), the then sajjada nasheen and other eminent scholars. During his graduation at Anwar-ul-uloom College, Hyderabad, he was elected student leader and made Editor of the Urdu section of college Magazine. In 1971 he established the Jaikisan Fertilizer factory at Hasanparthy in Warangal District. Its products are not only marketed in India but also exported to the neighbouring countries. After the demise of his father on 5th July, 1976 he became sajjada nasheen of Dargah Shareef Hazrath Syed Shah Afzal Biabani (رحمت اللہ علیہ), Kazipet and Kazi, District Warangal. He has to his credit nearly twenty thousand humble disciples and lakhs of devotees both in India and abroad. From 1983 to 1988 he successfully discharged his duty as an honorable member of A.P. State Wakf Board. During his tenure he set up a coaching center at Warangal with a notion to impart free coaching / education to Muslim minority candidates who were taking EAMCET and S.S.C. Examination. He started Shah Afzal Baitul Mal, Warangal, and (Finance Corporation) to offer interest free loans and scholarships to poor Muslim students. He utilized a portion of its funds for performing the marriages of poor orphan girls of the community and for the betterment of the lives of widows. Under his dynamic chairmanship, the Hazrath Abdul Nabi Shah Shopping complex committee constructed eighteen mulgies. The income revenue earned through the rent is spent for the upliftment of the Muslim community in Warangal. He frequently organized social and religious gatherings for achieving his intended goal of National Integration and communal harmony. He led the delegation of Sajjada nasheen of India to Late Rajiv Gandhi the Prime Minister of India to draw his kind attention towards Personal Law and Qazi Act. For some time he was secretary of Islamia Arts and Science College, Warangal. In order to realize his dream of teachings of Sufi Masters, he opened "SHAH AFZAL ISLAMIC EDUCATION CENTRE" at Kazipet Dargah Shareef. Here he held religious classes. With the co-operation of his disciples and devotees he has constructed the new building of the Dargah shareef of Hazrath Syed Shah Afzal Biabani (رحمت اللہ علیہ), Mosque, Samaa khana / school building, Dargah shareef of Hazrath Syed Shah Abu Mohammad Gulam Afzal Biabani (رحمت اللہ علیہ) alias Murshid Miyan Qibla, water tank and Vuzoo khana. As Hazrath Syed Shah Gulam Sarwar Biabani Saheb belongs to such a family that it has been with long traditional background of selfless social service he took it forward / continued it with a missionary zeal. He dedicated himself for upliftment of Muslim community and for spreading the teachings of Sufism in the southern part of India. The people of Warangal in
general and Muslim community in particular are immensely fortunate for
having such an illustrous personality amidst them.
